Topic Webs 2020-2021
Although we teach the objectives from the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum our talented teachers ensure that they deliver it in a stimulating, fun way - ensuring that our pupils are prepared for and have an appreciation of life in modern Britain.

Silverbox Multimedia work closely with our school to deliver teaching in multimedia skills from Year 3. The teaching is related to the curriculum topic and includes script-writing, story boards, acting and film-making. Our Year 6 class produce films in the summer term as part of their transition to secondary school. These are viewed as a special treat at Duke of York's Picture House.
Educational Visits and celebrations throughout the year include:
Blackberry Farm, Druscillas, Brighton Museum, Chinese Lion Dance (Chinese New Year), Herstmonceaux, Royal Pavilion, Preston Manor, Lucas Jet Circus Skills, Fisherman's Museum, Devil's Dyke, Wakehurst Place, Duke of York's Picture House, Borde Hill, Blacklands Farm Residential, Let's Dance Festival, Children's Parade - as well as field trips and visits to buildings in the local area.
