A warm welcome to Stingray Class from Miss Fay and Miss Phillips.
Our curriculum
Year 5 is a year to embed all of the knowledge learnt in lower key stage 2 and often a year when children grow in maturity and gain greater independence and confidence from being given more responsibilities.

P.E. days
Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday. Please send your children to school wearing their PE clothes on these two days.

Upcoming events
We continue to try and be as open, supportive and welcoming to parents and carers as possible. As part of this ethos, we hold numerous events for parents and carers throughout the school year but you may wish to note these ones:
Wednesday 11th June – Junior sports day
Monday 16th June to Wednesday 18th June – Residential trip to Lymley Wood
Monday 23rd June – i360 trip to learn about the history and impact of tourism
Tuesday 24th June – Parents and carers are invited to see OPAL play and meet our play lead
Wednesday 9th July – Parents and carers are invited to our annual dance festival
Monday 14th July – School reports sent home
Friday 18th July – Last day of school
Planned trips
From Monday 16th June to Wednesday 18th June, the children will be going on our residential trip to Lymley Wood.
On Monday 23rd June, the children will visit the i360 to learn about the history and impact of tourism.
